Named by Forbes as one of America’s Top 50 Women in Tech, Ayanna Howard has been recognized for her contributions to the development of accessible human-robotic systems and artificial intelligence, and for forging new paths to broaden participation in computing. A fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the National Academy of Inventors (NAI), Howard is the first female and second Black dean of The Ohio State University College of Engineering. She is dedicated to advocating for women and underrepresented minorities to pursue engineering education and careers
